Terms of use
Use the register freely and sensibly. Here's what that means.
The information
This site consolidates public government data in good faith, with sources shown on every page. Mining is a moving industry: statuses, operators and projects change between dataset releases. The register is provided as general information — not investment, legal or operational advice — and we make no warranty that any record is current or complete. Verify against primary sources before acting on anything here.
Reuse
Underlying government data remains subject to its own Creative Commons licences (see data & sources). Our consolidation, page copy and structure are © Mines & Quarries; short excerpts with a link are welcome, bulk reproduction is not. For data licensing, talk to us.
Submissions
By submitting a form you confirm that you are permitted to share the information for review. A form does not transfer ownership, guarantee publication or create an endorsement, commission, agency or transaction relationship. Personal records, images and commissioned contributor material are governed by an agreed written permission or licence before publication—nothing is published from a private form submission alone.
Member access
Member access uses a private, one-time email link instead of a reusable password. You are responsible for control of the email account and browser session you use. A member profile does not certify expertise, create an employment or professional relationship, promise publication, or provide investment or transaction access. Reviewed-contributor and reviewer labels describe an editorial access level only and may be corrected, suspended or removed.
Third-party listings and channels
The listings desk links to independent marketplaces, brokers and auction houses. Their advertisements remain third-party content under their own terms. Inclusion is not an endorsement, verification, recommendation or claim that an asset is available. Mines & Quarries does not republish those advertisements and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, due diligence, representations or transactions.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on the register. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian law.
